We are seeking a Programme Coordinator to join the SynHiSel team within the Department of Chemical Engineering!

SynHiSel is a £9Mn, 5-years EPSRC Programme grant led by Bath and involving 6 UK Universities and 12 Industrial partners, with 40 Research Associates and PhD students working on the project. The consortium focuses on creating high selectivity membranes to address global challenges, from removal of carbon dioxide to pharmaceutical manufacturing to cleaning up wastewater.

As Programme Coordinator, you will liaise with internal and external stakeholders (current and new) to ensure we have slick, effective and clear communication and management. You will also support the project leadership team in the day-to-day management and administration of SynHiSel.

This position is available part time, 14.6 hours per week, on a fixed term basis until 31st January 2027.

  • Experience within a university environment or areas relevant to the Hub’s target sectors
  • A track record of working in general administration and operational support roles
  • The ability to organise a busy workload using own initiative
  • Experience producing reports and analysing data
